Ana is awarded a SNSF Ambizione grant!

Ambizione Grants enables young researchers in all disciplines to start their independent research at a Swiss higher education institution. The funding of the Swiss National Science Foundation is for a period of four years.

Ana received one of the 22 grants that were awarded in the Life Sciences section for her proposal on "Bioengineering artificial extremozymes and ‘extremocells’ to develop more sustainable and robust biocatalysts". She has joined the Institute for Chemical and Bioengineering at ETH Zürich, kindly hosted by Prof. Paolo Arosio.
